Harbour Heights is an intimate guesthouse with panoramic views across the Grand Harbour, set in a tranquil corner of Valletta’s UNESCO World Heritage city centre.

A house with a remarkable past

Opened by the Abela family in December 2019, Harbour Heights occupies a 300-year-old building beside the Saluting Battery and Upper Barrakka Gardens—one of Valletta’s most photographed landmarks.

After suffering damage during the Second World War, the house was rebuilt by celebrated Maltese mid-century artist Emvin Cremona as his residence and studio. Today, those historic spaces have been carefully transformed into separate suites.

At the heart of Valletta

Set on scenic Battery Street above the sea, the rooms, balconies and terraces offer a quiet retreat at the heart of the capital.

Republic Street and Malta’s main bus terminus are an eight-minute walk away. Boutique grocers, artisan bakeries, restaurants and cafés are woven through the surrounding streets.
